Winter Blues
An old tree trunk protruding from the still waters of the lake in Delamere Forest.
Delamere Forest is all the remains of the once great forest of Mara and Mondrum with the name Delamere being derived from the French term ‘the forest of the meres’.
Today Delamere Forest Park is the largest woodland area in Cheshire providing a haven for wildlife including many rare species of insect as well as the Greater Spotted Woodpecker.
